Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa announces smart classrooms for Adi Dravida

             Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa told the assembly that she will be introducing smart classroom in 26 adi dravida boarding schools in the state at a cost of Rs 1.31 crore. Adi dravida and tribal students` hostels across the state will also get 260 boilers at a cost of Rs 12.20 crore in this year. The boilers will be supplied to 160 tribal boarding schools and 100 adi dravida schools to ensure that students get nutritious food on time. With the present facilities, it is difficult to prepare the food on time.

There are 26 government-run children homes in 22 districts. Orphans and children whose parents are in prison or disabled are admitted at these homes.
