KANPUR: Department of social work Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University and an NGO launched a special mobile van for spreading awareness among people, particularly girls, against sexual harassment. Head of department of social work Sandeep Singh said that the van moved within the university campus to make people aware about sexual harassment and violence against women.
He said that the society blames the victim for the crime and not the offender. The students were made aware on sexual harassment by way of a street play. The play drew huge crowd and kept the audience glued. The number of the girl students was high, who gathered to witness the play.
